Join Bev's Friends and Family Tours for a special trip to historic Stillwater and experience the Third Annual Cruise & Pack, hosted by Meals From the Heart.
You'll be welcomed by Bev's son, Monty Lysne, who serves with Meals From the Heart (www.mealsfromtheheart.org) and will be your host throughout this unique event. Monty will share the mission of this remarkable nonprofit and how a simple evening together can help feed hundreds of local families.
We'll board the beautiful riverboat Avalon in downtown Stillwater at 5:30 PM and as we cruise the breathtaking St. Croix River, you'll enjoy a delicious catered dinner, live music, and beautiful river views.
The highlight of the evening is a hands-on meal packing service project. Together, we'll pack Meals From the Heart's great tasting Alfredo Primavera pasta meals right aboard the riverboat. This fun, easy activity takes about a half hour and is designed for people of nearly every age and ability. Every meal packed during the evening will be distributed for free to Twin Cities and Steele County food shelves, helping local families facing food insecurity.
In just three hours, you'll enjoy a relaxing river cruise, an excellent meal, live entertainment, and the rewarding experience of helping your neighbors!
Trip Schedule
2:30 PM: Depart Albert Lea Walmart parking lot
3:00 PM: Depart Owatonna Perkins aboard a luxury motorcoach
3:30 PM: Depart Faribault State Bank – Faribault Mall location
5:30 PM: Board the Avalon Riverboat
6:00 PM: Cruise begins
8:30 PM: Return to the Stillwater dock
Approximately 10:00 PM: Arrive back in Owatonna
